I've been thinking of starting this for some time, but just had to tonight - you can blame Imasaver (laugh). I just had to start a blog so that I could comment and save her striploin...

    I'm in Toronto but I head up to Northern Ontario on a fairly regular basis. My father lives up in a community that used to be a mining town but is now a retirement community north of the North Shore of Lake Huron, so I get to Northern Ontario on a regular basis.

    Oh, Elliot Lake? I'm in Thunder Bay, but we lived for a while in Sudbury so I've been by the highway 108 turnoff a few times. I hear they've made it into a really nice place to retire.

    I hope you're careful if you're driving Hwy 69 - I travel down to CFB Borden and hate that stretch. Wink
